Vader Ranch 

Originally, this ranch, known as the Vader ranch,  was homesteaded in 1880 by the Welsh family. The Welsh's had a daughter, Ila, who spent her childhood years on the ranch. She later married and became Ila McAfee, who became a renown southwestern artist with a fondness for the Gunnison Country and Taos New Mexico.  Ila painted a number of post office murals around the southwest and one of her iconic works still adorns the Gunnison post office today.  This ranch no doubt influenced her many beautiful western landscapes.  This ranch, combined with  the LeValley Ranch is listed at $5,700,000.
